La cittá eterna: Visitando Roma

Hoy os traigo un post muy especial para mi sobre mi viaje a la capital italiana. No hay nada mejor que visitar Roma ahora que las Navidades se acercan. La semana pasada, durante el puente de la Constitución, hice una escapada a la ciudad eterna para visitar a una amiga y de paso disfrutar de todo lo que Roma puede ofrecerte. Tuve mucha suerte porque el clima fue esplendido, tanto que el abrigo hubo ratos que estuvo de mas. Así que pudimos hacer turismo y disfrutar de la iluminación navideña sin problemas. Ya que he tenido la suerte de hacer este viaje no podía perder la oportunidad de contaros todo lo que hemos visitado y alguno de los super cómodos looks que he llevado. ¡Así que tomar nota! 😉

Today I have come with a very special post for me about my trip to the Italian capital. There is not nothing better than visit Rome when Christmas is coming. Last week, during the holidays, I made a quick trip to the eternal city to visit a friend and in passing enjoy everything that Roma can offer you. I was very lucky because the weather was splendid, so mucho so that the coat sometimes left over. So we could do tourism and enjoy the christmas lights without problems. Since I have had the luck to make this trip I could not miss the opportunity to tell you everything about what we have visited and some of the super comfortable looks that I’ve worn. ¡ So take notes! 😉

Como todos sabemos, Roma tiene miles de lugares que visitar. Sabíamos que iba a ser una jornada con largas caminatas, empezando por el Castel Sant’Angelo, pasando por Trastevere y la Ciudad del Vaticano, para acabar en sitios como el Coliseum o la Fontana di Trevi. Recorrimos varios de los puentes que atraviesan el rio Tíber y comimos en una pizzería maravillosa del barrio de Trastevere, Dar Poeta, que tenía una de las pizzas mas buenas de toda la ciudad. Nos enamoramos 4 ó 5 veces de algún ragazzo, visitamos la plaza y la Basílica de San Pietro y acabamos lanzando de una manera original nuestra moneda en la Fontana di Trevi, ¡todo sea por volver a Roma!

As all we know, Rome has thousand of places to visit. We knew that it was going to be a day with long walks, starting in the Castel Sant’Angelo, going to Trastevere and the City of the Vatican, and ending in places like the Coliseum or the Fontana di Trevi. We walked in some of the bridges that cross the Tiber river and we ate in a wonderful pizzeria in Trastevere, Dar Poeta, which has one of the best pizzas in town. We fell in love with some ragazzo like 4 or 5 times, we visited the square and the Basilica of San Pietro and we ended throwing our coin in an original way in the Fontana di Trevi, everything for coming back to Roma!

Después de todo este recorrido entenderéis porque intenté buscar un look a la moda pero que fuese comodo; ropa que nos permitiera andar muchas horas pero sin perder ese toque de estilo. Elegí un conjunto de dos piezas con una falda negra básica con una raya de cuero de Zara y una blusa mostaza de esta temporada de Dunnes Store. La pieza más importante de este look es el must de este invierno: el poncho. Empezaron a llevarse el año pasado gracias a Karl Lagerfeld y su colección de un estilo más cow-girl pero este año ya puedes encontrarlos en todos los colores y formas. Y ahora, sin duda alguna, no pueden faltar en ningún armario. Este poncho morado y reversible es una prenda vintage pero siendo uno de los abrigos más de moda de la temporada puedes encontrarlo de cualquier marca y cualquier estilo: con cuadros, étnicos, con texturas y estampados…Abajo os he hecho una pequeña selección de dos de los ponchos que más me gustan de está temporada (Sección GET THE LOOK). Además llevaba un bolso negro de flecos de H&M y unas botas camel de pelo comodísimas de Cuplé, que si estás pensando en caminar muchas horas es de seguro tu mejor opción.

After all this route you understand why I tried to find a fashion look but comfortable; clothes that allow us to walk many hours but without losing that touch of styling. I chose a two-piece, a basic black skirt with a leather strip and a mustard blouse of this season by Dunnes Store. The most important piece of this look is the must of this Winter: the poncho. They became fashionable one year ago thanks to Karl Lagerfeld and his cow-girl style collection but this year you can find them in all colors and shapes. Without doubts, they can’t lack in any wardrobe. This purple and reversible poncho is a vintage garment but being one of the most fashionable coats of this season you can find it in any brand and any style: with squares, ethnical, with patterns and prints…In the bottom I have select two of the best ponchos for me of this season (Section GET THE LOOK). Besides I wear a black fringed bag by H&M and a camel fur boots really comfortable by Cuplé, that if you are thinking in walking many hours, it is for sure your best option.

Roma como siempre no defrauda. Me habría encantando quedarme unos días más para visitar muchas más cosas y para cotillear más tiendas de ropa italiana; que como sabéis la moda italiana es maravillosa. Pero no pasa nada, no dudaré en volver a esta ciudad a seguir disfrutando de los rincones que tiene. Rome as ever don’t let down. I would like to stay some days more to visit much more thins and to gossip more italian fashion shops; that as you know the italian fashion is wonderful.
