Outlander: Viajando en el tiempo con Adelina Aguiler

¡Hola a todos mis queridos amigos! 😀 Que ganas tenía de enseñaros lo que llega hoy al blog. Hace una semana estuvimos por tierras almerienses preparando una cosita muy especial, el lanzamiento de la nueva colección de tocados de Adelina Aguiler. Ya os presenté algunos de sus diseños más veraniegos hace unos meses (aquí) y ahora llega con una colección totalmente increíble. No solo une perfectamente modernidad con tradición, reinventando un estilo de tocados de los años 40/50 en algo actual que fácilmente podríamos llevar hoy en día para una ocasión muy especial. Es que también crea una pieza única, confeccionada a mano, que guarda la esencia de un tiempo donde la elegancia era la firma de todas las mujeres. Para presentar esta colección, que además lleva mi nombre, «Marina», Adelina y yo elegimos 4 tocados diferentes que captan esta esencia de la que os hablo. Como hay dos millones de fotos aproximadamente y todas son preciosas porque decidimos ambientarlas en los años de oro de la moda en unas localizaciones increíbles, y yo no podía elegir, he decidido presentaros dos diseños hoy y en otra ocasión más adelante otros dos. El primer diseño a mi me recuerda mucho al estilo Charleston. Es cierto que este estilo data de los años 20, pero todavía en los años 40 podíamos ver ese guiño a las lentejuelas, los flecos y el famoso cigarro en mano 😛 Este tocado consiste en una cinta de sinamay alrededor de la cabeza con una hortensia burdeos preservada y hojas de yedra. Me pareció interesante combinarlo con ese vestidazo de lentejuelas verdes de Síntesis, el cual tiene un largo y una forma que encaja muy bien con el estilo que estábamos buscando. Tanto los zapatos como el bolso son piezas vintage, algunas con muchos años a sus espaldas, eso las convierte en un perfecto detalle final para estas fotografías. Para llevar a cabo este look hoy en día, yo solo cambiaría esos tacones por unos otros más actuales, muy altos y de terciopelo burdeos. ¡Y perfecta! 😉

Hello to all my dear friends! 😀 I was so excited to show you what is arriving today to the blog. One week ago we were in Almeria lands preparing a very special thing, the launch of the new collection of headdress by Adelina Aguiler. I have already presented you some of her most summery designs, some months ago (here) and now she has created an absolutely incredible collection. Not only joins perfectly modernity with tradition, reinventing a headdress style from the 40s/50s in something from nowadays, something that easily we could wear in these years in a very special occasion. But she also creates a unique piece, handmade, which keeps the essence from a time where the elegance was the sign of every woman. To represent this collection, which it also has my name, «Marina», Adelina and I chose 4 different headdresses which capture the essence that I was talking about. As there are approximately two millions of pictures and all of them are beautiful because we decided to set them in the golden years of the fashion and at stunning locations, and I couldn’t choose, so I have decided to present you two designs today and later other day, other two. The first design reminds me so much to the Charleston style. It’s true that this style dates from the 20s, but still in the 40s we could see a wink to sequins, fringes and the famous cigarette in their hands 😛 This headdress consists on a sinamay ribbon around the head with a burgundy preserved hydrangea and ivy leaves. It seemed interesting to me combine it with that green sequins dress from Síntesis, which has a perfect length and cut, matching very good with the style we were looking for. The shoes, as well as the bag are vintage pieces, some of them from many years ago, that convert them in the perfect final detail for these pictures. To implement this look to nowadays, I would only change that high heels for other ones in burgundy velvet, higher, and more current heel. And ready to go! 😉

La segunda propuesta es un tocado más para eventos de día, tipo cocktail, tiene la forma de un sombrerito y está realizado en fieltro morado. Además, como detalle, tiene una flor de fieltro en la parte inferior de la pieza. Es un diseño super elegante, que quedará genial tanto con estilismos básicos como con looks más recargados. En este caso yo decidí combinarlo con un vestido largo morado de Rosegal, que tiene un aire así de otra época gracias a sus mangas y al detalle de la cintura. Una vez más añadimos piezas vintages para darle un toque especial a las fotografías, como es el caso de los zapatos estilo botín y de ese abrigo negro de terciopelo. Es curioso porque este tipo de abrigos vuelven a estar de moda y puedes encontrarlos en miles de tiendas, ¡pero el que vemos en la foto tiene unos 30 años! Y estas son las dos primeras propuestas, me cuesta decidir cual me gusta más, es muy difícil. Lo que si espero es que os gusten mucho las fotos, a mi me encantan, y os prometo que me sentí totalmente como en otra época. La segunda parte llegará muy muy pronto, pero mientras tanto os dejo abajo del todo donde conseguir cada prenda, y si son vintage, donde encontrarlas muy parecidas (ya que todas ellas se vuelven a llevar). ¡Un abrazo enorme a todos y nos vemos muy pronto! <3

The second proposal is a headdress for events by day, cocktail style, it has the shape of a small hat and it has been created in purple felt. Besides, as detail, it has a flower also in felt in the lower part of the piece. It’s a super elegant design, that it will look great with basic styles, as well as with more striking looks. In this case I decided to combine it with a  purple long dress from Rosegal, that it has an air from other times thanks to its sleeves and its detail of the waist. Once again we added some vintage pieces to give it a special touch for the pictures, as it’s the case of the shoes ankle boots style and that black velvet coat. It’s curious because this type of coat are fashionable again and you can find them in thousands of stores, but the one you see on the pictures it’s 30 years old! And these are the two first proposals, for me it’s so hard to decide which one I like the most. I hope you like so much the pictures, I love them, and I promise I felt like I was in other époque. The second part will arrive very very soon, but meanwhile I leave you at the bottom where to get every garment, and if they are vintage, where to find something similar (because all of them are fashionable again).
