El último maquillaje del año

¡Hola amigas! ¿Cómo va esa búsqueda del look para Año Nuevo? Os prometí en el post de 15 vestidos de última hora para Nochevieja que escribiría uno sobre maquillaje y peinados. ¡Y siempre cumplo mi palabra! 😉 Así que aquí estoy, lista para daros algunas propuestas y consejos para esa gran fiesta de fin de año. Para empezar, decir que yo no soy ninguna experta universal del mundo del maquillaje o de la peluquería. Me gusta estudiar y escuchar a los profesionales, practicar conmigo misma y que practiquen conmigo, probar todo tipo de productos, en definitiva, ser una esponja que absorbe todo lo que tiene a su alrededor 🙂 Para poneros en situación, ¿sabías que desde hace años cada temporada Pantone hace una selección de los colores más de moda? De esa selección salen los famosos Colores de la Temporada, en los que están basados las colecciones de moda, de decoración, tonos para maquillaje… ¡Todo! Y al final, se elige el Color del Año, curiosamente este año 2016, han elegido dos colores del año: el Cuarzo Rosa 13-1520 y el Serenity 15-3919 (un azul grisáceo). Podríamos decir que estos colores son como la Biblia de todos los diseñadores, maquilladores y demás personajes creativos alrededor del mundo. Vamos a echar un vistazo a los colores del Otoño-Invierno 2016 para saber en qué tonos debemos basar nuestro maquillaje.

Hello my friends! How is it going that seeking for the New Year’s Eve look? I promised you guys in the post 15 last minute dresses for New Year’s Eve that I will write one about makeup and hairstyles. And I always keep my word! 😉 So here I am, ready to give you some proposals and advices for that big party. To start, I have to recognise that I’m not a universal expert of makeup and hairstyle world. I like to study and listen to the professionals, practice with me and leave that other people practice on me, try all types of products, in short, be a sponge and absorb everything that I have around me 🙂 For a little perspective, do you know that from some years ago every season Pantone makes a selection of the most fashionable colours? From that selection are born the Colours of the Season, in which are based the fashion collections, decoration, tones for makeup… Everything! And finally, they choose the Colour of the Year, curiously this year 2016 they have been elected two colours of the year: the Rose Quartz 13-1520 and the Serenity 15-3919 (a grey blue). We could say that those colours are like the Bible for all the designers, makeup artists and other creative people around the world. So let’s take a look to all the colours for Fall-Winter 2016 to know which type of tones we have to base our makeup on.

Las dos primeras propuestas yo diría que son las mas clásicas. Ahumado Glitter es un ahumado de toda la vida (ahumado = de oscuro a claro) en tonos grises con un toque de purpurina plateada en el centro del párpado móvil. Un tono de labios claro y natural como ese color destacará nuestra preciosa mirada. Es el maquillaje de noche por excelencia, y nos irá bien con casi cualquier outfit. El segundo, All to red, apuesta por el rojo una Nochevieja más. La novedad es que no solo en los labios, sino también en los ojos. Un tono menos saturado, incluso tirando un poquito a rosa, es una de las tendencias de la temporada. Quedando al final un maquillaje muy equilibrado entre ojos y labios. Es en From Green to Purple donde arriesgamos mas, cambiamos totalmente de tonalidades «típicas» y viajamos hasta un verde brillante en los ojos y un morado con gloss en los labios. Un look muy de los 60 que ahora vuelve a estar de moda. Es Nochevieja, los excesos están permitidos 😉 La última opción, Shining like a Star, tiene una de las grandes tendencias de maquillaje de esta temporada: la purpurina, pero en los labios. En los ojos jugamos con dos de los colores del año, dos tonos de azul grisáceo, uno claro para la parte inferior de los ojos y uno oscuro para el párpado móvil, marcando sobre todo la línea de las pestañas. Aunque el gran protagonista son, sin duda, nuestros labios, grandes, carnosos, brillantes, el centro de todas las miradas.

I think the two first proposals are the most classical. Ahumado Glitter is a typical smoked eyes (smoked = from dark to light) in grey tones with a touch of silver glitter in the centre of the eyelid. A light and natural lipstick like that colour will stand out our beautiful eyes. It’s the night makeup par excellence, and it will look nice with almost any outfit. The second, All to red, beat on red one more time. The novelty is that not only on our lips, but also in our eyes. A less saturate tone, even a little bit pinky, it’s one of the trends of the season. Having at the end a very balanced makeup between eyes and lips. It’s in From Green to Purple where we dare more, changing totally the typical tones and choosing a bright green for the eyes and a glossy purple on the lips. A look from the 60s that now it’s fashionable again. It’s New Year’s Eve and the excess are allowed 😉 The last option, Shining like a Star, is one of the makeup trends of this season: the glitter, but on the lips. We play with two colours of the year in our eyes, two tones of grey blue, one light for the low part of the eyes and other one dark for the eyelid, marking above all the line of the eyelashes. Although the great focus are, without doubts, our big, full, and shine lips, the centre of all glances.

Pero, ¿qué pasa cuando no tienes tiempo de maquillarte tú? Nochevieja es una fecha muy especial e igual el maquillaje no es lo tuyo y no crees que pueda quedarte bien. No os preocupéis, hay soluciones para todo 😉 Mi recomendación personal es Nadia Beauty Social Center. Hace unos días les hice una visita, y es tan sencillo como explicarles que tipo de maquillaje quieres y su equipo de maquilladoras lo harán realidad por ti. ¿Qué queréis un look como el Shining like a Star? ¡Perfecto! Un recogido bajo despeinado, incluso con alguna trenza. Prendas con un escote pronunciado, o cuando llevas los hombros al descubierto y quieres disimularlos un poco, pelo suelto. Don’t worry, there are solutions for everything 😉 My personal recommendation is Nadia Beauty Social Center. Some days ago I visited them, and it’s so easy, you just have to explain what type of makeup you want and their makeup artist team will make it for you. Do you want a look like Shining like a Star? Perfect! Show them this and they will leave you ready for your event. You can also combine looks between them. For example, in my case I chose smoked eyes (like the Ahumado Glitter) but I wanted my lips in the tone Dusty Cedar, and we did it in that way! Garments without neckline or with backless, with big earrings, hair up. The most trend of the season? A low messy hair up, even sometimes with a platt. Garments with a very dare neckline, or when you show your shoulders and you want to dissimulate them a little bit, hair down. And the most popular, big waves.
