Marbella Luxury Weekend 2017

¡Hola a todos! ¿Qué tal estáis? Hace unos días, como pudisteis ver por mi Instagram, estuve de Insider en el Marbella Luxury Weekend 2017. Básicamente, os enseñé en directo todo lo que sucedió durante el fin de semana del lujo en Marbella: presentaciones, desfiles, conciertos… Pero se que muchos no pudisteis verlo o que os quedasteis con ganas de ver más, así que hoy os lo voy a contar todo y os voy a dejar muchas fotos para que lo viváis en primera persona 🙂 Este año el MLW se celebró justo al lado del agua del Puerto Banús, en una pequeña zona chill out que prepararon para la ocasión. Justo en la parte de atrás había una pasarela flotante donde iban a realizarse los desfiles. El viernes, el primer día de MLW, tuvimos varias actuaciones musicales, como por ejemplo el dúo de pianos de Michel Fadel y Álvaro Mur. Más tarde empezaron los primeros desfiles de la mano de Ecaille (Pret a Porter) y del diseñador de alta costura Abed Mahfouz. De este último son los espectaculares diseños que podéis ver en mis fotos: vestidos largos y sedosos, llenos de encaje y de pedrerías, una autentica obra de arte. Me recordó muchísimo al estilo de uno de mis diseñadores favoritos, Zuhair Murad, por lo que para mi fue el mejor desfile de todo el fin de semana.

Hello to everybody! How are you? Some days ago, as you could see on my Instagram, I was as Insider in the Marbella Luxury Weekend 2017. Basically, I showed you live everything that happened during this famous weekend about luxury in Marbella: presentations, fashion shows, concerts… But I know that many of you couldn’t see it or you wanted to see more, so today I’m going to tell you everything and I’m going to leave here many pictures, so you can live this in first person 🙂 This year, the MLW was just next to the sea in Puerto Banús, in a small chill out area that they prepared for the occasion. Just in the bottom there is a floating walkway where the show was going to be. On Friday, the first day of MLW, we could see some concerts, for example the piano duo by Michel Fadel and Álvaro Mur. Later the first fashion show along with Ecaille (Pret a Porter) and the high couture designer Abed Mahfouz. From this one are the stunning design that you can see on my pictures: long and silky dresses, full of lace and jewels, an authentic artwork. It reminded me so much to the style of one of my favourite designers, Zuhair Murad, so for me it was the best fashion show of the weekend.

La segunda noche (la noche del vestido verde como le digo yo jajaja) los desfiles cambiaron totalmente de estilo. Pudimos ver las últimas tendencias en ropa de baño de la mano de Maldito Sweet, una marca de bikinis y bañadores muy fresca y divertida. Luego nos subimos al barco de Classic Charters para cambiar la perspectiva del desfile, ya que podía verse desde los asientos acondicionados para ello o desde el barco. Desde ahí vimos cerrar los desfiles con los diseños de los alumnos de la Marbella Design Academy. He de reconocer que la pasarela flotante era algo totalmente espectacular, ver a las modelos desfilar sobre el agua del puerto, es una pasada 🙂 Como se que os gustaron mucho mis looks de ambas noches, os dejo justo aquí abajo donde encontrar los looks completos lo más parecidos posibles. The second night (the night of the green dress, as I said hahaha) the fashion shows changed their style totally. We could see the last trends in beachwear along with Maldito Sweet, a brand which design very fresh and funny bikinis and swimsuits. Then we went up to the boat by Classic Charters to change the perspective of the fashion show, because you can watch it from the conditioned seats or on the boat. From here we saw the closing of the fashion shows with the designs by the students of the Marbella Design Academy. I have to recognise that the floating catwalk was absolutely impressive, see the models walk on the water in the port, it’s amazing 🙂 As I know you liked so much my look of both nights, I leave you just here where to find the full looks as similar as possible.
